Why a medical degree?

The study of medicine is a healthy combination of research, technology, practice, and experiments that allows students to alleviate human pain and suffering anywhere in the World.

The practice of medicine is considered to be one of the highest professions. Thus a medical degree is viewed with much pride.
"Stethoscope is not just an instrument, it's a jewellery."
There are many reasons for people who want to go after a degree in medicine. It can either be a strong passion or maybe the financial benefit calculated.

The data from OCED says that there is a considerable shortage in the number of medical graduates worldwide. This indicates the high demand for professionals in this area.

Why top university?

The World's top universities attract the best and the brightest students in the World.

International students see many advantages, such as learning from the best professors, intercultural experience, and opportunities for international careers.
"If you hang out with chickens, you’re going to cluck, and if you hang out with eagles, you’re going to fly."
The degree should be an instrument to open up the possibility of establishing yourself in your chosen area.

If the degree itself has minimal merit or ends up shutting more doors than it opens, graduates may be left cornered in an unproductive direction without a future.

So now, let us explore the factors that we chose to rank the top universities.

Ranking factors

We considered three factors while ranking universities.
  • The student-faculty ratio of the medical school.
  • Research income of the university.
  • Overall expenditure of the university per student.
The student-faculty ratio refers to the number of faculty working in the school compared to the number of students enrolled.

When the school has a lower ratio, you'll have fewer students in your classroom, making it easier for your teachers to recognize you.

This is critical as it determines how often a student will engage and how they can make connections with their professors.

Research income reflects the quality of study in a university. Research has a significant role to play in defining the goals of education.

When students are exposed to research as part of their education, they can develop high-level analytical skills.

As research is interdisciplinary, we considered the university's research income rather than the research income of medical school alone.

The ratio between the university's overall expenditure and the total number of students in the university indicates the facilities that the student would enjoy at the university during the course of his or her studies.

In addition to the factors we have considered, a variety of other factors are considered by various institutions when rating universities.
